Annotation

This report aims to provide information on the research project Acceptability of the Female Condom in different Social Contexts, and on the results obtained to date. This study has embraced six different contexts namely Sao Vicente, Rio de Janerio, Belo Horizonte, Goiania, Cabo and Porto Alegre. It has analysed acceptability of the female condom after 15 years and 90 days of observation among users of the National Health System. The overall objective was to provide data for the Brazilian Ministry of Health, National Coordinating office for sexually Transmitted Diseases to use as a basis for considerable making the female condom more widely acceptable in the public health network.
